Going Green Smoothie

A pretty pale green and full of delicious fruit flavor, this smoothie is a terrific place to start if you are new to green smoothies. Fresh spinach blends with fruit, ice, and water to create a refreshing smoothie that even the most vegetable-wary kid can enjoy.

Preparation :

10 minutes PROCESSING:30 seconds YIELD: 2½ cups (600 ml)

Ingredients :

  • ½ cup (120 ml) water
  • 1 cup (150 g) green grapes
  • ½ cup (75 g) fresh pineapple chunks
  • ½ medium banana
  • 2 cups lightly packed (60 g) spinach
  • ½ cup (120 ml) ice cubes

Place all the ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid. Select Variable 1. Turn the machine on and slowly increase the speed to Variable 10, then to High. Blend for30 seconds, or until the desired consistency is reached.
